Gas Tag featured in The Times

Gas Tag was recently featured in The Times. The article highlights how our app provides housing associations with real-time evidence that gas safety work is up to date and up to standard.

A study by the Gas Safe Register found that over 1.1million gas jobs are carried out by illegal fitters. Properties fitted with a Gas Tag means that unqualified engineers are unable to carry out work on that property, helping landlords to keep tabs on tenant safety through a smartphone.

Our app provides housing associations with an audit trail so that they have an iron grip on gas safety compliance – a key area for social housing given recent tragic events.

Stephen Collins from the Housing Plus Group, one of our customers, is also interviewed and heralds Gas Tag as “the most exciting thing to happen to the sector in the past ten years.”
