Gas Tag, a Liverpool based tech company that specialises in compliance software, has announced its partner charity for 2020 with a halloween themed fundraiser.

Over the course of the next year, staff from the organisation will be working hard to raise vital funds for Sefton Children’s Trust. A registered charity which provides educational and recreational programmes for children who are experiencing difficulties within their own families.

Stacey Goodwin, Executive PA at Gas Tag, kicked off the fundraising with a spook-tacular raffle for an even scarier hamper of halloween themed treats.

The raffle was open to Gas Tag staff and employees of other businesses based in 4 St Pauls Square, raising £163.74 in total.

Stacey Goodwin said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Sefton Children’s Trust and supporting them through raising vital funds. Sefton Children's Trust do amazing things to help children locally and provide them with Fantastic opportunities,

"I am a spook-tacular fan of all things Halloween and couldn’t resist the chance to do some frightful fundraising on behalf of the charity.”

Sefton Children’s Trust has been working with Local families since 1984 and is run by a team of more than 40 volunteers from a range of backgrounds.

The charity has no paid staff so every penny raised goes directly to helping local families. The charity aims to provide support for children over a three-year period, including a week-long summer residential which is often the sole holiday of the young people on the programme.

Gas Tag will be announcing its next fundraising activity soon. To find out more about Sefton Children’s Trust visit www.seftonchildrenstrust.org
