Gas Tag spreads cheer with festive fundraising

Gas Tag has raised over £600 for a children’s charity based on Merseyside.

Staff have been fundraising for Sefton Children’s Trust throughout December and have taken part in a host of activities, including Liverpool’s annual Santa and Christmas Jumper Day.

Gas Tag also worked with a number of businesses in the region to host a festive raffle. Gas Tag sold over 200 tickets and prizes ranged from a Playstation Four to a meal for two at Viva Brazil.

The raffle was open to Gas Tag staff and employees of other businesses based in 4 St Pauls Square, raising £207 in total.

The money was used by Sefton Children's Trust to purchase presents for children less fortunate and provide food hampers for families in need this Christmas.

Stacey Goodwin, Executive PA at Gas Tag, said: “Everyone has Gas Tag has really enjoyed getting into the festive spirit and raising vital funds for Sefton Children’s Trust. Christmas can be a very difficult time for some and we are just glad that we can provide a little help.

“I would like to thank all of the local businesses who supported us with raffle prizes, everyone who donated to our fundraising activities and all of our staff for getting involved.”

Staff at Pegasus Group’s Liverpool office also joined Gas Tag in collecting food for Sefton Children’s Trust.

Sefton Children’s Trust has been working with disadvantaged since 1984 and is run by a team of more than 40 volunteers from a range of backgrounds. The charity provides support for children over a three-year period, including a week-long summer residential which is often the sole holiday of the young people on the programme.
